Wellthy Communities Inc. has launched (3) community projects to aid in combating the spread of COVID-19 among more susceptible populations as well as providing ongoing life skills support to disadvantaged families during this time. Our current initiatives include:

#LIVEWELL Mask Distribution

Wellthy Communities Inc. has partnered with several family shelters and assisted living facilities across the DC metropolitan area to provide1200 PPE face masks to residents and frontline staff. The facilities include:

  • Sasha Bruce, DC (~300)

  • Central Union Mission, DC (~ 400)

  • St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore (~ 230)

    • Sarah’s Hope

    • Hannah More Innterim House

  • Baltimore Outreach Services (~ 50)

We are also accepting donations toward the purchase of additional PPE masks for distribution. Donate here.

Recognizing Greatness -

Wellthy Communities Inc. launched an initiative to identify leaders serving on the front lines daily to service our communities. We are accepting ongoing nominations from our network in order to highlight distinguished individuals. Nominated professionals will be featured weekly on all digital platforms and will also receive an incentive on behalf of Wellthy Communities Inc.

#LIVEWELL Virtual Life Skills Workshop

Understanding Change -

Beginning May 2020, Wellthy Communities Inc. will be offering virtual life skills workshops to adult and adolescent residents in our partner family shelters. Life skills workshops will be facilitated by specialized professionals who will cover a range of topics to include financial literacy, mental health, professional development, as well as other topics. These workshops will take place twice a week and will be tailored toward the age, demographic, and specific needs of shelter population. Check back for more details on when workshops will take place.
